1960′s

1963 Jackson Hole, Wyoming was the setting for “Spencer’s Mountain” with Henry Fonda and Maureen O’Hara. The film inspired “The Walton’s” TV series.

1968 The oil fields of Casper and Gillette are the set for “Hellfighters” starring John Wayne as Red Adair. The Jackson Hole Airport also makes an appearance.
