The Cheyenne International Film Festival (CIFF) offers audiences an opportunity to see films from around the world and network with and learn from producers, director, writers and photographers. In its first year, there were 35 films from around the world screening at the Historic Atlas Theatre in downtown Cheyenne. Keep up with the latest by joining the CIFF facebook page.

The mission of CIFF is to encourage and celebrate the art of film and digital media through creative forums for artistic and social awareness in the community served. We want to bring the community together to discuss their stories.

Through partnerships with Downtown Cheyenne, the Downtown Cheyenne Merchants’ Association, the Wyoming Film Office, the City of Cheyenne, and the Cheyenne Area Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, WCM is creating a strong community-based infrastructure to support film and digital media.

Our main goal is to democratize the movie business and create a space for movie makers to screen their works. On the first day of CIFF 2009, CIFF conducted a seminar about the film and digital media business that includes a workshop during which participants will produce short films.

CIFF is a production of Wyoming Community Media (WCM). WCM is 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to nurturing and growing the film community in the Rocky Mountain West and make film and digital media accessible to all.
